Arsenal boss keen on 22 goal striker as Welbeck replacement.

Follow the author on Twitter: @Attlee Arsene Wenger is apparently planning on enquiring about the availability of Belgian forward Michy Batshuayi, with the prolific forward seen as the ideal replacement for the injured Danny Welbeck, as reported by the Daily Star. As the report suggests, Welbeck has unfortunately been ruled out for a massive nine months. He picked up a knee injury against Manchester City recently, and will now be out until early 2017. Wenger has looked at the possibility of bringing Batshuayi to Arsenal before, but Welbeck's injury has apparently forced his hand and convinced him to revisit a potential Batshuayi transfer.
