Arsenal club chief issues statement on Arsene Wenger’s future

Arsene Wenger's long-term future is yet to be resolved
The Frenchman is entering the final year of his contract. Although the Premier League title has eluded him for the past 12 years, Wenger has been in charge of the Gunners for almost 20 years. And chief executive Ivan Gazidis insists the club aren’t ready to contemplate Wenger’s exit just yet. “He’s in his mid-sixties, it’s natural to think about when his time here might come to an end, but the truth is nobody knows,” Gazidis told the Daily Telegraph. “He is in fantastic shape.
