Arsenal in the Community play abroad

An Arsenal in the Community Under- 11 development team represented the club in a tournament in the Alsace region of France in June. The team was made up of boys from Arsenal in the Community’s development centre in Highgate Wood. The boys train twice a week with the club’s community coaches and play regular matches in the local area. The group travelled to France to compete against sides from professional academies and leading youth clubs in the prestigious Agiir Cup. They did the club proud, reaching the semi-finals stage of the 32-team competition and earning a fourth placed trophy.
