Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger holds talks with Everton striker

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger's pursuit for a striker continues as he looks to bolster his attacking options ahead of the upcoming season. According to The Sun, the Gunners boss has held talks with Everton star striker Romelu Lukaku. The report goes onto state that Wenger wants to sign a new striker ahead of Arsenal's pre-season tour of America later this month. Lukaku failed to set Euro 2016 alight despite starting every game for Belgium who made it to the quarter-finals. The 23-year-old striker scored just two goals and was criticised for his performance during Belgium's defeat to Wales.
