Juventus 'launch official bid for Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez'

Juventus have made an official bid for Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez, according to reports. The Italian champions have previously been linked with a move for the Chile international, reportedly making him their number one transfer target this summer. It is understood that their interest in the 27-year-old has increased since striker Alvaro Morata returned to Real Madrid, and Calcio Mercato claim that they have now made a formal bid. The report suggests that Juve's opening offer is 30m (£25.6m) plus bonuses, although Arsenal's asking price is thought to be significantly higher than that.
