Arsenal icon considering shock approach from London rivals Chelsea

According to reports from Sport, Chelsea have offered Arsenal icon Marc Overmars the chance to join their academy staff. The former Netherlands winger spent three years at Arsenal, bagging 25 goals in 100 Premier league appearances before leaving for Barcelona in 2000. He's considered one of the Gunners' greatest players of the Premier League era, but could be about to agree terms with one of Arsenal's closest rivals. Indeed, Sport claim the 43-year-old has been approached by Chelsea, who are looking to overhaul their academy.
