Arsene Wenger pleased with Rob Holding debut

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has paid tribute to Rob Holding after the young defender impressed on his debut for the Gunners in Thursday's 2-1 win over the MLS-All Stars. Holding, a summer signing from Bolton Wanderers, played the entirety of the pre-season match at the heart of the defence as the capital side recorded a late win. Wenger has praised Holding's 'reading of the game' and has said that the 20-year-old "has adapted surprisingly in a very good way". "He has adapted surprisingly in a very good way.
