Arsenal reject loan offer from London rivals

Arsenal have rejected a loan offer from West Ham for defender Kieran Gibbs. That's according to The Standard, who report that the Hammers had identified the English international as the perfect replacement for Aaron Cresswell, who could miss the first 4 months of the Premier League season due to injury. Gibbs made 15 league appearances last season, but only started 3 of them, after falling behind Nacho Monreal in Arsene Wenger's pecking order. He did score once though, in the 1-1 draw with rivals Spurs. It was his lowest appearance tally in the Premier League since the 2010-11 season. But the Gunners have rejected the loan offer for Gibbs, which could force Slaven Bilic's side to look at...
