Live Commentary: Viking FK 0-8 Arsenal - as it happened
Arsenal began their pre-season tour of Scandinavia in style this evening, thrashing Viking FK 8-0 in Stavanger. Joel Campbell scored the only goal of the first half for the Gunners, but a second-half blitz of four goals in nine minutes put Arsene Wenger's side in complete control. Santi Cazorla and Theo Walcott both got on the scoresheet before Michael Haukas diverted the ball into his own net, while Campbell capped off the goal-laden spell with his second of the night. There was still time for Alex Iwobi to add two of his own in the final 20 minutes, though, while Chuba Akpom completed the rout in the last minute of normal time.
