Aaron Ramsey: 'Arsenal exit to Monaco is a missed opportunity'

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has claimed that his side's Champions League exit at the hands of Monaco on Tuesday night is a missed opportunity. Arsene Wenger's charges dominated their Ligue 1 opponents in the second leg and secured a 2-0 win at the Stade Louis II. They were however unable to overturn their disastrous 3-1 first-leg defeat, and so went out on away goals. Asked whether it proved a missed opportunity, Ramsey told BBC Sport:"I think so, we've always gone out to Bayern Munich and Barcelona at this stage.
