Crystal Palace eye free agent Mathieu Flamini

Crystal Palace are reportedly considering a move for former Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini. The 32-year-old has been a free agent since leaving the Emirates Stadium at the end of last season, and is available to be snapped up despite the transfer window closing on Wednesday. The Daily Telegraph reports that Palace are one of the clubs interested in the Frenchman after missing out on Jack Wilshere, who joined Bournemouth on loan from the Gunners on deadline day. Alan Pardew is looking for midfield cover having failed to replace Mile Jedinak following his summer move to Aston Villa, but is not the only man looking at Flamini.
