Eddie Howe pleased with debut performance of Jack Wilshere

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has praised Jack Wilshere for his hard-working performance in the 2-1 friendly defeat to AC Milan on Saturday afternoon. The England international played 45 minutes of the match before being taken off, three days after completing a season-long loan switch from Arsenal. Howe was keen to take some positives away from the match, held to honour cult figure Warren Cummings, and believes that giving Wilshere his first run-out in a Bournemouth shirt was one of them.
