Arsene Wenger: 'I hope Jack Wilshere spends career at Arsenal'

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has acknowledged that he could not guarantee Jack Wilshere regular first-team action with the Gunners this season. On the final day of the transfer window, Wilshere completed a season-long loan move to Bournemouth as he bids for frequent game-time in the Premier League. However, while Wenger has conceded it was logical to allow the 24-year-old some time away from the Emirates Stadium, he has said that he wants to see the midfielder spend the remainder of his career in North London.
