Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger calls for January transfer window to be abolished

  Despite getting some excellent business done this winter, Arsene Wenger is clearly not a fan of the January transfer window. He believes that Financial Fair Play was a key factor in the reduction of business we saw this past month, but insisted on Arsenal's official website that the mid season window should eventually be abolished. Arsenal News The Frenchman will no doubt be grateful that he had the opportunity to reinforce this January, with the signing of Gabriel Paulista likely to prove a crucial one as we head into the latter stages of the season.
