Contact Talks Stall As Sanchez Makes Demands

The negotiations over Alexis Sanchez’s new contract have stalled after the Chilean has demanded that a release clause is inserted into the deal. The forward has two years left on his current contract but is thought to be happy to continue playing for the Gunners (via The Telegraph). He certainly proved his importance on Tuesday night with that late equalising goal but worryingly Alexis Sanchez has just two years remaining on his current contract. The Chilean signed from FC Barcelona in 2014 and has scored 30 goals in 68 Premier League matches for the Gunners.
