Wenger Plots £40m Bid For Real Madrid Striker
Arsenal’s recently signed striker Lucas Perez has only just begun to find his place in the team and Wenger is already reported to want to add further reinforcements to the attack. According to Merca Futbol, Wenger is hoping to restart his chase for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema (again). It is reported Wenger is willing to spend as much as £40 million to sign the Madrid forward. However, the task to sign the French international would become impossible should the La Liga powerhouse fail to convince FIFA to withdraw the transfer embargo inflicted on them.
