Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger discusses taking England job

The FA are looking to hire a new England manager after Sam Allardyce’s embarrassing exit earlier this week.  Allardyce was sacked after just 68 games in charge after being exposed in a sting by undercover reporters working for the Daily Telegraph.  Wenger was linked with the job after Roy Hodgson was sacked following England’s disastrous Euro 2016 campaign in June.  However, while he didn’t take the job then, Wenger has admitted he would be open to the possibility of managing the national team if he was no longer Arsenal manager.  “My priority is to do well here (Arsenal),” he said. “This has always been my club.
