“Why not?” – Wenger Open To Taking England Job

Arsene Wenger has admitted he is open to taking on the job of England manager following Sam Allardyce’s departure after just 67 days and one game in charge. The Frenchman has long been linked with the Wembley hot seat but the Arsenal board are reportedly set to offer him a two-year deal, as his current deal expires at the end of the season. Wenger was asked if he would consider taking on the England job at Friday's pre-match press conference ahead of the trip to Burnley, and admitted he would consider it if he was available. “My priority is to do well here,” he told reporters. “It’s always been my club.
