Serge Gnabry made conscious decision to leave top club - Werder Bremen

Werder Bremen's Serge Gnabry has impressed for club and country in recent months. Werder Bremen are confident Serge Gnabry will stay for many years, sporting executive Frank Baumann has said, despite rumours of an agreement with Bayern Munich. Gnabry, 21, joined Bremen from Arsenal on a four-year deal in August for a reported €5-6 million after playing a starring role for Germany at the Olympic Games as they finished runners-up.  The winger has scored twice and provided one assist in his five games for Bremen, and Baumann told Bild: "Serge knows what he has at Werder and that he can build something here.
