Confirmed England XI vs Slovenia: Lingard keeps his place as Henderson set for captain's role

England interim boss Gareth Southgate has named his starting Xi to face Slovenia in their World Cup qualifying clash in Ljubljana on Tuesday night. Southgate confirmed this week that captain Wayne Rooney would be on the bench for the encounter, with the armband passing on to Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson.
