Arsene Wenger provides positive update on Arsenal star's contract talks
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed that contract negotiations with Mesut Ozil are 'moving along' as all connected to the club await news. The German international's current deal runs until the summer of 2018, and along with the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Hector Bellerin, there is growing concern from an Arsenal perspective over the delay in ensuring the influential individuals sign new long-term deals with the club. Wenger has moved to allay those fears, despite the fact that talks were said to have been reopened in September, although there was no suggestion that an agreement was close.
