Reports in Spain indicate that FC Barcelona have given up their pursuit of Hector Bellerin because they believe the Spaniard will sign a new contract at the Emirates. The reports are published in Spanish publication Sport which claims that Barca are now looking elsewhere (via Sport). The near-constant reports linking Hector Bellerin with a move away from the Emirates have been worrying Arsenal fans in recent months. Both Manchester City and former club FC Barcelona are the teams most heavily linked with the right-back and both clubs have a history of signing Arsenal's best players.
