Arsenal talisman targeted by European heavyweights as contract talks stall

Alexis Sanchez is being targeted by Juventus and Manchester City as he is yet to sign a new deal with Arsenal, report the Mirror. The Mirror believe that both Juventus and City have been alerted by Sanchez's reluctance to extend his contract with the Gunners and are weighing up £50 million bids. It is reported by the Mirror that Sanchez will have just a year remaining on his contract come the summer window. Arsenal may find themselves in a similar situation as in August 2012, where they were held to ransom by Robin Van Persie and subsequently sold him to rivals Manchester United.
