Report: Arsenal yet to open Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain contract talks

Arsenal are reportedly yet to open contract talks with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain regarding a new contract, despite manager Arsene Wenger suggesting otherwise. Last week, the Gunners boss revealed that negotiations had begun with representatives of the England international, who has 18 months left on his contract. However, according to The Mirror, Oxlade-Chamberlain is yet to be approached about a new deal and has been left surprised by Wenger's comments.
