Reports have emerged claiming that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte wants a reunion with Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal. The pair conquered Italy together at Juventus and remain close. With Oscar and Mikel John Obi leaving Chelsea next month, Conte is in the market for a new midfield signing – and Chile international Vidal fits the bill. Bayern would be willing to part with the player as Renato Sanches and Joshua Kimmich establish themselves in midfield. A figure of 30 million has been mooted. A deal for the end of this season is the more likely option – with Vidal already making it clear to Conte that Chelsea must be in the Champions League for the move to happen.
