Arsenal Loanee To Sign Permanent Deal

Roma are keen to sign Wojciech Szczesny permanently after being impressed by the Arsenal goalkeeper during his loan spell, according to the Corriere Dello Sport. Szczesny is currently enjoying a second season with the Italian side who are flying high in the Serie A table, in second place behind leaders Juventus. The 26-year-old initially joined Roma on a one-year deal in 2015 to gain regular football following the arrival of Petr Cech from Chelsea and subsequently extended his deal for one more season. Coach Luciano Spalletti has reportedly been hugely impressed by Szczesny and wants to keep hold of the Poland international but may struggle to meet Arsenal’s asking price. The Gunners...
