Hull Confirm Talks With Arsenal Defender

Hull City manager Mike Phelan has admitted he wants to take Carl Jenkinson on loan when the transfer window reopens but faces competition for his signature. The full-back looks destined to leave the club after struggling for game time, even during Hector Bellerin’s recent injury lay-off. Jenkinson has been linked with another loan spell at West Ham but Phelan says the struggling Tigers are hoping to tie up a short-term deal for the 24-year-old. 'Yes, he's been spoken about.
