Danny Welbeck Convinced Quitting Man Utd Saved England Career

It has been reported that Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck is convinced quitting Manchester United has saved his England career. Last summer, Welbeck, 24, was seen as surplus to requirements by new Old Trafford boss Louis van Gaal. He said: “When you are playing regularly, you feel a lot sharper on the pitch. Once you play regularly, it just becomes second nature to do things on the pitch. 'I feel match-sharp and that is important.” Tags: Arsenal, featured, Manchester United
