Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud wins Player of the Month prize
STAR MAN: Giroud won Arsenal's monthly gong [GETTY] The French forward bagged six goals in as many games for the Gunners as they continued their charge up the Premier League table. All of Giroud's domestic goals came in wins for the club, with his strikes against Everton, QPR West Ham and Newcastle helping Arsenal to victory. He also scored against Monaco in the Champions League, but Arsene Wenger's side were edged out on away goals after a 3-3 draw on aggregate. Giroud polled 73.7 per cent of the votes, with Coquelin a long way behind on just 10 per cent. The winner of the February gong - German international Ozil - bagged just 5.9 per cent.
