Lethal striker ‘turned down Arsenal’ – agent

Alvaro Morata’s agent has stated that the hotshot striker turned down the chance to join Arsenal last summer. The Spain international left boyhood club Real Madrid at the end of last season to join Italian giants Juventus, and has played a key role in the Bianconeri romping Serie A and making it to the quarter-finals of the Champions League this term. However, Giuseppe Bozzo has admitted that Arsenal and Wolfsburg are both in for the Spanish forward and were offering more money that Juventus. “Exactly, but Alvaro had seen first-hand what Juventus were offering him,” the agent is quoted as saying on Sky Sports.
