Jack Wilshere ready to return to Arsenal squad

Jack Wilshere has claimed that he is ready to make his return for Arsenal after making more progress in recovering from his latest injury. The England international has been absent since November due to an ankle problem, but he managed to play 90 minutes for the club's Under-21 team alongside Mikel Arteta and he is confident he can make an impact for Arsene Wenger's side in the closing stages of the season. "You can train as much as you like but you can't get that match fitness unless you play," Wilshere told the club's website.
