Arsenal are reportedly close to signing Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, with reports that the transfer will smash the club's transfer record. The Gunners have long been linked with a move for the French international, with Lyon publicly revealing that they had rejected a bid from the north London giants over 12 months ago on Twitter. According to Sky Sports though, the transfer saga could be coming to an end finally as sources close to Lacazette are said to be confident that a deal worth more than £50m including add-ons will be wrapped up.
