Mesut Ozil insists he wants to stay at Arsenal
Ozil is in Australia with Arsenal as they prepare for next season. He is yet to extend his contract which has just 12 months to run but is hopeful an agreement has been reached. Ozil and Alexis Sanchez’s futures have been in doubt through last season with just one year to go on both’s deals. But there has been less interest in Ozil and he now looks set to stay. “It is definitely my preference to stay,” Ozil said at the launch of the club's Puma-made third kit.
