Arsenal transfer news: Wenger talks about Sanchez and Ozil leaving in January, Walcott advised to move and more - 12th October 2017

Arsenal v Doncaster Rovers - Carabao Cup Third Round
Wenger spoke about the possibility of Sanchez and Ozil leaving in January

Arsene Wenger speaks about Sanchez and Ozil's future

Both the players are in the final year of their contracts and Arsenal have so far failed to renew their deals. Speculation has been underway for quite some time and Wenger addressed it finally. He said:

“Once you are in our kind of situation we have envisaged every kind of solution. Yes, it’s possible.”

Sanchez and Ozil have been linked to several clubs in the summer given their quality but it makes sense for Arsenal to make some money instead of losing them on a free.

Former Chelsea player advises Walcott to leave

Arsenal FC v FC Basel 1893 - UEFA Champions League
Walcott has been advised to leave Arsenal

Theo Walcott has failed to become a first-team player at Arsenal during his time and the increased competition this season has further reduced his chances. As a result, TalkSPORT presenter, Jason Cundy, suggested the Englishman is better served to join Everton or Crystal Palace. He said:

“Walcott should consider Everton and also Crystal Palace. They are desperate for someone up top. I very much doubt he will go there, though."
“I’ll be honest, I think it’s about time Theo Walcott left Arsenal and look for pastures new. I’ve not been a huge fan of Theo Walcott over the years. I’m amazed at how long he’s been at Arsenal and how little he’s really offered during that time.”

Cundy does make a valid point and it definitely makes sense for Walcott to find regular football, especially if he wants to play in next year's World Cup.

Juventus and Inter Milan in for Olivier Giroud

Arsenal v Leicester City - Premier League
Giroud has so far failed to win his place in the side

Giroud is facing a shortage of game-time at Arsenal and he needs to play more if he has to play in the World Cup next summer. Everton's Ronald Koeman has been trying to sign the Frenchman since the summer and now TEAMtalk report that Italian duo Juventus and Inter Milan are in for the player.

The 31-year old preferred to stay and fight for his place over the summer but things could be different in 2018. Reports state that both Juventus and Inter Milan are looking to sign Giroud at the end of the season.

Giroud is definitely not short of suitors given his quality and he will be a wanted man irrespective of when he leaves.
