Arsenal face a fixture headache this summer if they finish seventh in the Premier League, due to their potential involvement in both the Europa League and International Champions Cup.

If Burnley finish above Arsenal in seventh and Southampton do not win the FA Cup, the Premier League's allocated Europa League spots will drop to seventh place, with that club entering at the second qualifying stage.

The first leg of that stage is on July 26, the same day Arsenal are due to play in Singapore in the International Champions Cup against Atletico Madrid.

Huddersfield (A) Bourneouth (H)

Arsenal are also scheduled to play PSG in Singapore on July 28, with the Europa League second qualifying stage second leg scheduled for August 2.

Arsenal will also go in at the second qualifying stage if they finish sixth and Southampton win the FA Cup. Burnley are currently two points behind Arsenal in seventh, but the clubs face each other at the Emirates on May 6.

But of course, if Arsenal are to win the Europa League but finish outside of the top four, they will enter the Champions League as England's fifth side, and Burnley would still qualify for the Europa League in seventh.

Grabbing the last Europa League spot would be a huge bonus to Burnley, who have not competed in Europe since the 1960s, but there would be three stages to progress through before reaching the group stage.

After the second qualifying round on July 26/August 2 comes the third qualifying round (August 9/16) and a play-off round (August 23/30).

If Arsenal finish sixth and Southampton do not win the FA Cup, the Gunners will enter straight in at the group stage of the Europa League, beginning on September 20.
