Looks good

pitzkale

Where’s Martinelli? ?

DaDude

Interesting question. He is also not listed as injured on the official website.

Mesut O’Neill

Harsh Crowd.

Downvoting a guy because he asks a valid question.

??‍♂️

OnlyBeingHonest

Was only about to ask the same question as well

Evang. Simon

Arteta is the coach and he knows whom he can trust to get the job done.

I am just a passionate fan, my job is to support Arsenal in every situation.

Let’s go Gunners

Niobe

Moving words there

Kolasinac

Omission of Saka is surprising but let´s win nicely.

samu

3 games in a week might just be a bit too much, Kola much be chomping at the bit!

SheffieldGooner

He’s 18. Should be able to play everyday.

yen

Tell that to Jack Wilshere’s knees and ankles

The Far Post

I might be wrong but wasnt Kola pretty good vs ManU not so long ago? Think he came back early from injury especially for that match.

Paul Roberts

Auba on the wing again!! Since when has Eddie been a better striker than him?

Anonymarse

He isn’t but Auba is effective on the wing and Eddie isn’t

Paul Roberts

Martinelli is incredibly effective on the wing though?

Parisian Weetabix

I’m no expert on tactics or anything but when Henry went to Barca and played under Guardiola, he was almost always used from a left-wing position, and the system was successful. It’s not necessarily a case of shoehorning him in – maybe Arteta just thinks that’s where he’s most useful. Blogs has made the argument that Auba on the left wing is a waste of a player there, but it’s worth pointing out Auba doesn’t exactly boast incredible hold-up skills when played as a striker. It’s why Laca won the player of the year last season; his all-round game is… Read more »

Paul Roberts

Thanks mate, I’m still not happy though. 🙂

OnlyBeingHonest

Ye but that was with Ibra through the middle and eto’o as well, slightly different today

tanned arse

He never will be if he doesn’t play. However, the goalscoring position in this set up is the left side forward

David Hilliers Arm Cast

Eddie was our worst player against Newcastle. Very unsure about this decision.

Richard

I have to say I’m not a fan of starting Nketiah and Kolasinac…

OnlyBeingHonest

I like Kolasanic, one of our best threats going forward at times

David Hilliers Arm Cast

And worst defenders haha!!

David Hilliers Arm Cast

And that first goal is evidence in case you needed some ?

RoyalT

I’m sure his resting saka and others for Thursday’s match. It’s more important than 2day

Tommmy

1day I might understand why people write like that

OnlyBeingHonest

3mendous reply

Paul Roberts

If we win this we are 4 points from 5th though?

hugh jarspfan

blogs it should read
Everton: who gives a fuck

Lanre

Boy had better come good to warrant this. Martinelli deserves a start more than Nketiah in my opinion.

jaffacake

I wonder is Nketiah in for his legs/running ability. Auba and Pepe to provide the goals, Eddie to close the CB’s and stretch the defence

Berlingoon

Like the fact that Arteta is really keen to give Eddie game time. Came close last week and hopefully will pay back that trust with a goal today.
Surprised that there’s no Martinelli in the squad. When you consider that him, Willock, AMN, Holding, Tierney, Chambers, Soares und Mari are all not even in the squad you can’t help but think that this team should be so much higher up the table than it actually is. Really hope we’re able to go on a little run now. COYG!

Niobe

What I get from it is that our squad is too large at the moment, and needs some serious trimming down in the summer.

tanned arse

When all those players are actually in form then the squad is actually really big. It’s just that so many have struggled for that form for long spells this season. I’ll be interesting what kind of response we get from kolasinac today plus the eddie inclusion will either benefit him or really open up laca’s eyes as to upping his level. It’s all good

Man Manny

My only worry is Nketiah; I feel he is yet to find his feet at this level.

BODMAS

COYG

juma abinalah

The team is changing now

Dom47

I’m really sorry for Holding, hi e should get a run in the side. The same for torreira, although I hope he would have started today, maybe he’s still recovering from illness.

Boo mustardfi and boo softy grannyt, they can feck off to the nearest bottom of the table team.

Mekus

I don’t like this team

Bergkamp2Wright

Cracking start. FFS

Gbenga

Verily I say unto you, I don’t understand why Nketiah is in the team and Martinelli isn’t.

Gbenga

Nketiah Nketiah Nketiah just show the reason why he is in the line up. But I still feel Martinelli deserves more playing time than him sha

swing

His hold up play is much much better than Martinelli’s

Gbenga

Is that for real? Nketiah having a better hold up play than Martinelli? Am sure you are kidding me

Lacaubapepe

That’s what Saka brings to the table, Arteta!!! Productive movement, speed and excellent delivery into the box!!! Why did it take an injury to Kola for you to see it??!!!

Futsboller

You think Arteta doesn’t know what Saka brings to the table?

Thierry Bergkamp (non negotiable)

If Saka plays 50 games a season and ends up like Wilshire, you’ll probably be one of the first to complain about Arteta’s poor man management and over playing of him

Paul Roberts

Everton have been fluky bastards with their goals. Our goals pure football fuck me Auba just scored!!!!

Billy Bob

Oh it’s SBT (squeaky bum time) with five minutes and additional time

Billy Bob

Pants 5 minutes of injury time ☹️

TotsOfJack

Bernd Leno’s haters are on some strong weed. This guy and Auba have kept us out of the relegation zone.

juma abinalah

The big. win big big big win

Abe

For the win
