Chelsea could allow Jorginho to join Arsenal this summer if the Blues sign Declan Rice from West Ham United, according to a report.

Chelsea would reportedly consider allowing Jorginho to join Arsenal this summer if the Blues can secure a deal for Declan Rice in the latter stages of the transfer window.

Rice is allegedly still a leading transfer target for Chelsea, with head coach Frank Lampard urging his side 'to make one last push' for the England international before the transfer deadline.

Jorginho has worn the armband in both of his side's Premier League matches this season, but a recent report claimed that Arsenal are considering a move for the Italy international.

According to The Mirror, should Lampard's side manage to land Rice from West Ham then Jorginho could complete a switch to the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners have also been strongly linked with Atletico Madrid's Thomas Partey and Lyon's Houssem Aouar as head coach Mikel Arteta looks to boost his options in the middle of the park.

Arsenal are next in Premier League action away to Liverpool on Monday night, while Chelsea will travel to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday afternoon.
