A report claims that Arsenal are ready to make an offer for Sevilla's in-demand centre-back Jules Kounde, who is open to a move away this summer.

Arsenal are set to make the first move for Sevilla centre-back Jules Kounde, according to a report.

The Gunners are one of a number of teams to have been linked with the 22-year-old, along with the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea.

Spanish outlet Marca suggests that United or Chelsea would be Kounde's preferred destination as they can both offer Champions League football.

However, neither side have yet to table an offer, and it is claimed that Arsenal are ready to open the bidding for the France international.

Speaking last week, Kounde admitted that he may have to swap clubs this summer if he is to win major trophies.

The former Bordeaux defender has spent the past two seasons with Sevilla and won the Europa League in 2019-20.
