Blackstenius - I want to be the best I can be

Stina Blackstenius wants to go all the way to the top.

The Sweden international has maintained an outstanding goalscoring record throughout her career so far - but now she’s here in north London, she’s ready to take the next step.

“It feels really good to be here,” Stina told Arsenal Media. “I’m so happy to join such a big and great club like Arsenal.

“I feel like I’ve been taking steps during the last seasons and I’ve become a better player now. I want to keep that going and I feel like it’s a big challenge for me to move here and to play in another league, but I want to try and be the best that I can be, so that’s why I’m here.

“If I had to describe my style of play, I would say I’m a very physical and fast player and I like to use my speed and run a lot in deep to create chances for both me and the players around me, so that’s pretty much me.

“Now, I just want to help the team with the qualities that I have and I want to become a better player too. I want to win the league and win as much as we can.”
