The rumours can finally be put to rest… Stina Blackstenius is a Gunner!
The media and fans alike have been eagerly waiting on an announcement - and Stina has loved every minute of the support, love and excitement online, all while keeping quiet.
“It’s been so fun to see all the messages I’ve got on Twitter and Instagram,” Blackstenius told Arsenal Media. “It’s very fun to see that the fans are excited and they they want me here. It makes me happy!
“I got a really good first impression about this club. I’ve seen the team play and I think they play really good football and I wanted to be a part of that. I feel like I can become a better player in this environment.
“It’s an amazing feeling wearing new colours and putting the Arsenal jersey on. I will enjoy my time here and I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
