Everton manager Dyche will definitely be without the services of Andros Townsend and Nathan Patterson for his first game in charge, while James Garner is still nursing a back problem too.
Michael Keane and Ben Godfrey are edging closer to returns from knee injuries but also remain out, and Dyche is facing a dilemma over whether to revert to his traditional 4-4-2 setup from his Burnley days, or go with a defence-heavy formation in the hopes of quelling the league leaders.
In any case, Dyche will welcome the chance to reunite with James Tarkowski and Dwight McNeil, while the out-of-sorts Dominic Calvert-Lewin will shoulder the attacking burden for now.
Meanwhile, Arsenal announced on transfer deadline day that Mohamed Elneny would be out for a lengthy period - likely the rest of the season - after undergoing knee surgery, which triggered the Gunners' late pursuit of Jorginho to cover in the engine room.
Any debut for the ex-Chelsea man is sure to come from the bench here, and Arteta also remains without Gabriel Jesus and Emile Smith Rowe, but Reiss Nelson has returned to training following a thigh injury.
Jorginho could be pressed into action early if Thomas Partey's rib injury prevents him from starting, with the Ghanaian midfielder coming off at half time against Man City, but scans have been reassuring and he should retain his place in the XI.

Aston Villa vs. Leicester (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Aston Villa manager Emery has confirmed that both John McGinn and Lucas Digne will return to the squad for the weekend, but Jed Steer and Diego Carlos are absent alongside Bertrand Traore, who has just returned from a loan spell with Istanbul Basaksehir.
New signing Alex Moreno should continue at left-back over Digne in any case, while McGinn may have to make do with a place on the bench if he is given the thumbs up from the medical team.
Emery will surely see no need to make any changes to a winning team after a two-week break, with the veteran Ashley Young holding his place at right-back over Matty Cash.
As for Leicester, Rodgers could hand debuts to new signings Tete and Harry Souttar - assuming the latter can recover from a minor hip issue - having already brought Danish left-back Victor Kristiansen off the bench for his maiden appearance at Walsall.
A lengthy injury list for Leicester still includes James Justin, Jonny Evans, Ryan Bertrand, Boubakary Soumare and Ricardo Pereira, while Wilfred Ndidi is out for personal reasons, but Jamie Vardy is in with a slim chance of returning from a glute problem.
Rodgers has remained reluctant to throw Iheanacho in from the first whistle this season, but the FA Cup hero will surely be considered for a starting role in the number nine place over Patson Daka this time around.

Brentford vs. Southampton (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Brentford will be without the services of Pontus Jansson and Frank Onyeka due to respective hamstring and thigh injuries, while Shandon Baptiste is doubtful with a groin problem.
Aaron Hickey returned to the matchday squad last time out and watched on from the substitutes' bench after recovering from an ankle injury, and the Scot could be selected to start on Saturday at the expense of either Mads Roerslev or Kristoffer Ajer depending on whether Frank chooses to operate with a four or five-man defence.
The likes of Vitaly Janelt, Yoane Wissa, Kevin Schade and Keane Lewis-Potter will all be pushing to start, while top scorer Ivan Toney – who has netted 13 times in 18 Premier League games so far this season – is set to lead the line.
As for Southampton, Kyle Walker-Peters sustained a hamstring injury in the first half against Newcastle and he will now join Valentino Livramento (knee), Stuart Armstrong (groin) and Juan Larios (muscle) on the sidelines, while Moussa Djenepo is doubtful with concussion and will be assessed ahead of kickoff.
Jones was criticised by some Saints supporters for starting with a back five in the second leg on Tuesday with his side trailing the cup tie on aggregate, and it remains to be seen whether he will opt to switch to a back four this weekend.
Deadline-day signings Kamaldeen Sulemana and Paul Onuachu – the former of whom arriving for a club-record fee from Rennes – may not be available to make their debuts this weekend as Jones has confirmed that the pair are yet to receive their work permits.

Brighton's cup win over Liverpool was marred by a serious-looking injury to teenage striker Evan Ferguson, who was the victim of a horror tackle from Fabinho that inexplicably only warranted a yellow card.
Ferguson was caught on his Achilles by Fabinho's studs and limped off the field, although the extent of his damage remains unclear, and De Zerbi is also without Jakub Moder, Levi Colwill, Adam Lallana and the suspended Alexis Mac Allister, but Facundo Buonanotte could be named on the bench.
With injuries now piling up, De Zerbi may be forced to consider a recall for Caicedo after the Ecuadorian's actions apparently led to a banishment from the training ground, but 19-year-old Swedish starlet Yasin Ayari - who may very well become Caicedo's successor - will hope for an immediate introduction to Premier League football after his winter arrival.
As for Bournemouth, O'Neil is still sweating on the fitness of no fewer than three players, with Marcus Tavernier, Philip Billing and Dominic Solanke all classed as doubtful for Saturday's showdown.
None of Ryan Fredericks, Junior Stanislas, David Brooks or Lewis Cook will return for the weekend, where new signings Hamed Traore, Antoine Semenyo, Matias Vina and Ilya Zabarnyi will all be in line to make their debuts.
O'Neil will be reluctant to disrupt the harmony too much after a well-earned point against Forest, but Vina and Traore in particular should feel confident of immediately coming into the first XI.

Man United will have to cope without Christian Eriksen until April due to an ankle injury, while Donny van de Beek and Scott McTominay are also ruled out with respective knee and muscle problems.
Diogo Dalot is still nursing a hamstring injury and remains doubtful, so Aaron Wan-Bissaka is set to continue at right-back, joining Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez and Luke Shaw in the back four.
David de Gea and Marcus Rashford are both expected to return to the starting lineup after beginning on the substitutes' bench in midweek, with Tom Heaton and Alejandro Garnacho set to make way.
Jadon Sancho made his first appearance since October as a substitute against Forest and will be in contention to feature again on Saturday, while Marcel Sabitzer could make his Red Devils debut following his deadline-day loan move from Bayern Munich.
As for Crystal Palace, former Man United winger Wilfried Zaha is facing up to six weeks out with a hamstring injury, and he joins James McArthur (groin) and Nathan Ferguson (foot) in the treatment room.
Joachim Andersen could be in a position to return to the matchday squad after missing the last two games with a calf problem, although the Dane is unlikely to be thrown straight back into the first XI, so Chris Richards and Marc Guehi are set to continue at centre-back.
Either Olise, Jeffery Schlupp of Eberechi Eze could start in the front three in the absence of Zaha, while deadline-day signings Naouirou Ahamada and Albert Sambi Lokonga will be in contention to make their debut in centre-midfield.

Wolves vs. Liverpool (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Wolves should only be working without their four long-term absentees this week, as Chiquinho, Pedro Neto, Boubacar Traore and Sasa Kalajdzic continue their respective rehabilitations.
As such, Lopetegui should not shy away from an alteration or two, especially after changing his entire frontline at half time against Man City, with Adama Traore, Raul Jimenez and Hwang Hee-chan all lasting no longer than 45 minutes.
Matheus Cunha can therefore feel optimistic about a recall, while fellow new arrival Pablo Sarabia made his debut off the bench in that defeat and will be in contention for his full debut alongside Joao Gomes, who previously revealed a desire to play for Liverpool.
Meanwhile, Liverpool's injury situation is going from bad to worse, as Ibrahima Konate is reportedly facing a three-week layoff due to a hamstring injury which he picked up against Brighton in the FA Cup.
Konate takes up a bed in the well-occupied treatment room alongside Virgil van Dijk, Arthur, Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz and Roberto Firmino, while Fabio Carvalho (unspecified) and Nat Phillips (illness) will both need assessing.
Phillips's deadline-day exit was reportedly blocked in the wake of Konate's injury, which will see Joel Matip and Joe Gomez partner up at the back for the time being, and Darwin Nunez will surely return to the tip of the attack after a brief spell among the substitutes.

Newcastle vs. West Ham (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimaraes was shown a straight red card in the second half of Tuesday's EFL Cup win, but instead of missing the final at the end of this month, the Brazilian will be suspended for the next three Premier League matches including Saturday's contest with West Ham.
Alexander Isak sustained "possible concussion" after being smacked in the head by a James Ward-Prowse free kick and the striker is a doubt for this weekend, while Emil Krafth (knee), Matt Targett (foot) and Javi Manquillo (knock) are still out injured.
Howe is unlikely to make too many changes to his starting lineup, but the absence of Guimaraes could see Joelinton move back into the midfield three, with a potential debut handed to January signing Anthony Gordon in attack – Allan Saint-Maximin and Jacob Murphy are two more options who could start in the final third.
As for West Ham, Maxwel Cornet (calf), Gianluca Scamacca (knee) and Kurt Zouma (thigh) are all ruled out with injuries, while January addition Danny Ings could return to the matchday squad after making swift progress in his recovery from a knee problem which he sustained on his debut against Everton last week.
Moyes is expected to recall a number of players to his first XI following the FA Cup win over Derby, with goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski set to replace Alphonse Areola.
Right-back Vladimir Coufal and captain Declan Rice are poised to start at the expense of Ben Johnson and Flynn Downes respectively, while Lucas Paqueta and Said Benrahma will also be pushing to return to the side.
