Gunners Scouts Identify Benfica Ace As Striker Target
Arsenal’s scouting network has identified Benfica youngster Diogo Goncalves as a possible transfer target. The 19-year-old is yet to play for the Benfica first team but has represented Portugal at youth level (via The Daily Mail). He isn’t exactly the big name striker Arsenal fans are after this year but The Gunners are tracking Benfica B youngster Diogo Goncalves. The 19-year-old caught the attention of scout Gilles Grimandi in the UEFA Youth League last season and is now being closely followed by fellow scout Luis Boa Morte.
