Fernando Llorente Explains Choosing Tottenham Over Chelsea
According to reports from Sky Sports, Fernando Llorente says he joined Tottenham over Chelsea after a last-minute call from Mauricio Pochettino on Deadline Day. 'The truth is that Chelsea have been after me for a long time but at the end you know how this works. At the very last minute Pochettino called me and convinced me [to join Tottenham],' said the 32-year-old. 'The Tottenham project is impressive.
