Premier League keen to stage Arsenal, Liverpool fixture on Christmas Eve?

The Premier League have reportedly made plans to rearrange the fixture between Arsenal and Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium for Christmas Eve. With Christmas Eve falling on a Sunday this year, there is scope for Sky Sports screening a 'Super Sunday' fixture and it appears likely that the game in question will be Liverpool's 420-mile round trip to London. According to The Telegraph, the broadcaster wants to end a 22-year period without a game on Christmas Eve by pushing the match back from its current date of December 23.
