Arsenal news: Alexis Sanchez and Alexandre Lacazette partnership looks promising - Wenger

Arsenal beat Brighton 2-0 at the Emirates yesterday which will have given Wenger’s men a much-needed boost going into the international break. The last time the Gunners broke off for the international fixtures, they were thrashed 4-0 by Liverpool at Anfield. Sanchez and Lacazette wreaked havoc at times at times against Brighton. The Chilean produced a sublime back pass for Alex Iwobi, who slammed home from close range to seal victory. While Wenger has normally preferred to play one up front, he is encouraged by the early signs of Sanchez and Lacazette spearheading the attack.
