Everton no longer interested in Premier League striker

Everton have no plans to move for Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud when the transfer window reopens in January, according to the Daily Star. What's the story? The France international was linked with the Merseyside outfit in the summer after dropping down the pecking order at the Emirates. Last season, Giroud started just 11 Premier League games, but he publicly expressed a desire to fight for his place at Arsenal. Everton failed to replace Romelu Lukaku, despite spending more than £100m on new signings and the lack of goals have certainly been an issue so far.
