Promoter Kalle Sauerland has revealed that he would like to stage a showdown between George Groves and Chris Eubank Jr at a football stadium. On Saturday night, Eubank stopped Avni Yildirim inside three rounds to move through to the semi-finals of the super-middleweight World Boxing Super Series, and the IBO champion will face Groves at the start of 2018 providing that Groves can overcome Jamie Cox this weekend. Groves's representative Sauerland - who is promoting the event - has claimed that Arsenal's Emirates Stadium, Fulham's Craven Cottage and Stamford Bridge - home of Groves' beloved Chelsea - were all in contention.
