Inter Milan eager to increase Mauro Icardi transfer clause to scare off Arsenal and Chelsea

Inter Milan want to review the release clause of Arsenal and Chelsea target Mauro Icardi. The striker's present clause is said to stand at 110m (around £99m), but Inter are wary that could be too low in the current market. With transfer fees continuing to rise, the San Siro club want to sit down with Icardi to discuss a new amount. According to Calciomercato, Inter will give the Argentina international a pay rise but in doing so his release clause will rise to 150m (£134m). The Italian side hope that will help to ward off interest from the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea in their captain.
