Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck 'in talks with Besiktas over January switch'

Besiktas have reportedly taken steps in pursuit of Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck. The Turkish club are believed to be hunting for a new attacking player after selling Cenk Tosun to Everton for around £27m. According to Fanatik, Besiktas officials have opened talks with Welbeck's camp regarding a transfer that could potentially be agreed before the end of the month. Welbeck has been plagued by injuries since moving to Arsenal from Manchester United in 2014, and this season, the forward has struggled for game time.
