Chelsea plot midfielder swap deal to land Arsenal target
Chelsea are planning a swap deal involving John Obi Mikel in order to sign Arsenal target Morgan Schneiderlin from Southampton, according to reports from the Express. The 25-year-old has been on the Gunners' radar ever since the previous summer, but has seen a number of offers rejected by the Saints over the course of the campaign. They are believed to be favourites to sign the France international, but the Blues are hoping they can persuade manager Ronald Koeman to let Schneiderlin leave if Mikel is offered in the deal.
